Normally, I would go out and run just to stay fit.. but today was different. I left home this afternoon hoping for a run, but my dad decided to join in, so things were slightly differently, considering he's kinda fat and a lil too old for running with me. Anyways, so after I packed up my bag, I decided to bring my bike with me for after running.

And as usual.. my bag was overloaded with stuff.. typically nearly 4kg duffle bag.
It included pretty unexpected stuff to be honest.. such as... my dslr,
non-dslr, phone, phone charger, iPad, mini-computer, ID cards, money, 1 change of shirt. |
So.. yea.. if you read the caption.. I was practically ready for war. Anyways, my dad and I headed for the "River-side-park" (<- literally what it is translated. 河濱公園) and I ran for 3km while my dad rode my bike next to me.. after that, he went to rent a bike (cause our car just wouldn't fit two bikes) and we rode for about 7km before I began to stop and take pictures. So... Here's some pictures...

so if you're smart enough to realize, it probably wasn't the best day for a bike ride considering the weather wasn't perfect. then considering I was wearing a sport jacket. hmph. anyways... We ended up at this 15km post, right next to the end of the runway for SongShan airport, so we decided to stop there and wait for the next flight, meanwhile, I got a perfect spot for a picture of grassfield + tree. missing the sunset. damnit. if only there was that sunset.. it'd be perfect. just damnit.

so yea.. by the time we were going home, it was kinda late, and as we were driving, something weird happened. you probably won't see this happening in any other airport.. but there were actually fireworks within the airport perimeter while we drove by.
we ended up joking about how sloppy the Taiwan government was... wait.. maybe I shouldn't be writing this here. oh well. just fyi-ing.. the picture quality sucks cause that was drive-by pic taking :D right before we got home.. took a few pictures of 101 too
