Weird Night

Tonight was a weird night... Didn't feel like doing anything, or go anywhere. Ended up sitting in my room, using my computer, but not really doing anything on it. I mean. I wasn't photoshopping.blogging.using facebook.watching videos. I just sat there. listened to music... Something that never happens... hm... oh well..

So anywayss, I felt like saying I'm sick of percussion, as much as I love it though. I'm re-audition-ing for Wind Ensemble soon, yet, I don't feel like playing more percussion.. :L hope I'll like it again soon maybs? yea.. got three major performances in the next six weeks... sighhhs.

for the past two days.. i've been really busy with some of my works and stuff (no, not photoshop either - serious work from school) so yeaaa.
SO ANYWAYS. today was a day off, so i went out with some friends - but idk. it wasn't too much a happy time in a way? those who went will understand. :L oh welllllsssss
We went to Dazzling Cafe in Shinyi and Cafe Slow (also in Shinyi i think... hm.. does that still count as shinyi?) Meant to go to Micasa too, but it was full.. so...

Moneyball.

Lately, I've been hit by a quote. no. I've been hit by a movie.
Moneyball.

It isn't the movie a lot of people watched, it isn't the interest of most people in fact. The story was sad though, and as sad as it was, it told me alot. In the movie, a man named Billy Beanes was a scout for a team in which was supported by less than 40,000,000 USD each year, while they were playing against teams such as NY Yankees supported by 120,000,000 USD. He took a route in playing baseball based on statistics, based on science, based on math. All for the risk of losing his job, losing his life, as he has already lost his family (divorced). In the movie.. Billy Beanes said something like (can't find it atm):

At some point in life, we're told we can't play the children's game anymore. Everyone is told this. It takes some people a day to get pass it, some people a week, some a month, some a decade. Some people just don't get over it. We have to learn, before it's too late.

It isn't that much a good quote, but when it applies to Billy, he declined his scholarship to Stanford for baseball, only to be cheated and thrown to bad teams, only to be bought, only to be used as a card on the dealers deck. It is a sad sad movie that I suggest everyone watch.

Sick and tired of TAS // Thankyounote

Not to be mean or anything. I'm fucking sick of TAS. I mean. I'm fine with the friends and stuff, but I just don't like this school, and it's only been half a year or so. I miss AST. I miss eighth grade. No. not even, I miss seventh grade, the times when we were a lot of closer. Here in TAS.. it's so large you don't even get a hello in the morning because it's not even likely to run into them until the same class or lunch. it's pathetic.

Family Time in 'House'

I've been up with another TV series. House. It's not exactly new, but I haven't watched it for years, so anyways. My family and I are starting to watch this TV series again, starting from season 6. Haven't had family time like this. Ever. or at least not one that we continuously do, but only short ones. Gonna keep watching now..

The Making of a Good Dinner

Yes. That's right. A good dinner. After a short chat with Bethany this afternoon about food (:D) (who surprisingly ditched me) I decided to make something good for dinner. Nothing was in my fridge though.. I guess I wasn't exactly hungry anyways, so I ended up making some beef steak for my family and I. Australian beef was all that was left.. so.. yea.. steak :D idk what to say.. let the pictures talk?
